1. How to get one
FullSizeChevy is being rebuilt from scratch, and build threads are what make it worth reading. So the first five members who post a proper one get a plate. This is not a draw and there are no odds — you either post a qualifying thread and claim it before the other four, or you don’t.
- Post your build thread. In In Progress or Completed Builds. No account? Make one, it is free.
- Check it against the twelve below. All twelve, not eleven.
- Fill in the claim form. The time you submit it is your place in line.
- Wait for my reply. I check your thread and email you either confirming your position or telling you exactly what is missing.
2. What your thread needs
Your truck does not have to be finished. Daily drivers, work trucks, restorations, lifted, lowered, tow rigs, survivors and long-term projects all count. An honest, detailed thread on a maintained stock truck qualifies. It needs all twelve of these:
- A Chevrolet or GMC full-size truck or SUV that you own.
- At least five original photos of it.
- At least one clear, high-resolution exterior shot.
- Year, make, model, engine, transmission and drivetrain.
- How you got the truck.
- Its current condition and what you use it for.
- The work and modifications already done.
- Useful detail on the major mods, repairs or parts.
- What you are working on now.
- What you plan next.
- Your own words and your own photos — not copied listings, scraped posts or AI filler.
- Posted in In Progress or Completed Builds.
3. What you get
One FullSizeChevy vanity plate: 12" x 6" aluminium, gloss black, red lettering, four pre-drilled holes, mounting hardware not included. Retail value about USD $19.99. It ships free, on me. No cash alternative, no swapping it for something else in the shop, and any tax or duty is yours. It is a novelty plate, not a government-issued one — check your own state or provincial rules before you bolt anything to the front of a truck.
4. The fine print
Who can enter. Registered FullSizeChevy Forum members who own a full-size Chevrolet or GMC truck or SUV, are 18 or over (or have a parent or guardian’s permission), and can receive mail in the United States or Canada. FSC staff and moderators cannot. One plate per person, per household and per build. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
No purchase necessary. Nothing is drawn, raffled or randomised, at any stage. Buying something from the shop does not help you and does not count towards qualifying. The only way in is a qualifying build thread.
How positions are set. Every claim is timestamped, and that timestamp is your place in line among threads that already qualify. Claiming before your thread is finished does not hold a spot — if it is not complete when you submit, the claim does not count, I tell you what is missing, and the later submission is the one that counts. Confirmed positions are posted in this thread by username and thread link only. If you do not answer my message within fourteen days, the position moves to the next qualifying thread.
Your stuff. Never post your address publicly. The claim form asks for a username, a thread link and an email, and nothing else; if you get a position I email you privately for a shipping address, it is used to send the plate and nothing else, and it is deleted once the plate arrives. Your photos and words stay yours: posting a thread lets FullSizeChevy display it and quote or share a photo from it when promoting the community, always credited to your forum username, and if you would rather I did not, say so and I will not.
Bad faith. Spam, copied content, stolen images, misrepresented ownership, duplicate accounts or any attempt to game the running order gets rejected. Whether a thread meets the twelve requirements is my call and it is final.
