These numbers matter. Under-torqued suspension components lead to clunks. Over-torqued hardware ruins bushings and threads.

If you’re resealing a diff or swapping gears, follow correct preload procedures — don’t just hammer the pinion nut.

Cab mount torque is critical on rust-belt trucks. Recheck after first drive if mounts were replaced.
