Want to maximize tire size on your 2014–2018 Silverado/Sierra 1500 with a leveling kit? Here’s the definitive fitment guide.
With a 2" Leveling Kit:
The Rough Country 1307 or equivalent 2" level opens up more tire clearance than stock.
17" Wheel Fitment:
- 265/70R17: Stock-size, fits perfectly
- 285/70R17: Popular choice, fits with 2" level, minor trimming at full lock on some builds
- 285/75R17: Borderline – may rub on some builds without trimming
- 33x12.50R17: Fits on most builds with 2" level
18" Wheel Fitment:
- 275/65R18: Fits cleanly with 2" level
- 285/65R18: Fits on most 18" builds with 2" level
- 305/65R18 (33" equivalent): Borderline without some trimming
20" Wheel Fitment:
- 295/60R20: Fits on most builds
- 305/55R20: Common LTZ stock tire, also works after level
- 33x12.50R20: Fits with 2" level
Wheel Offset Matters:
Factory K2XX offset is typically +44mm on 18" wheels and +31mm on 17". For wider tires, slightly less offset (more negative) gives you more inner clearance.
BFGoodrich Tire Recommendation:
BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 in LT265/65R18/E – A great fitment for leveled K2XX 1500s.
