T1XX MyChevrolet App Not Working – Common Fix

Having trouble with the MyChevrolet or myGMC app not connecting to your T1XX? Here are the most common causes and fixes.

Symptoms:

  • App shows “Unable to Connect” or “Vehicle Offline”
  • Remote start fails to activate
  • App shows outdated vehicle information
  • Lock/unlock not responding

Common Causes and Fixes:

1. OnStar Module Connection Lost
The most common cause. The OnStar module in the truck may have lost its cellular connection.

Fix: Press the OnStar button (mirror-mounted) and speak to an advisor – they can diagnose the module status and push a reset.

2. App Needs Update
An outdated app version can cause connectivity issues.
Fix: Update the app from the App Store or Google Play.

3. Phone Bluetooth Interference
Active Bluetooth connections can interfere with app communication.
Fix: Disable Bluetooth on the phone temporarily and try the app on cellular data.

4. Account Issues
Expired subscription or billing issue breaks remote features.
Fix: Check account status at mychevrolet.com or myGMC.com.

5. Battery Voltage
If truck battery is low (under 12.4V), the OnStar module may not respond.
AstroAI Multimeter – Check battery voltage to confirm the truck has sufficient power.

Force Reconnect:

  1. Press blue OnStar button to verify cellular connection
  2. Log out of app and log back in
  3. Remove and re-add the vehicle to your account

Last Resort: Dealer Visit
If none of the above work, the OnStar module may need to be reset or replaced by the dealer.
