A leveling kit on the 2019+ T1XX Silverado/Sierra 1500 gives a level stance and opens up room for larger tires. Here’s what fits.
T1XX Front Suspension:
The T1XX 1500 uses a coilover/strut-based IFS with a strut tower on top. Leveling kits use a spacer on top of the strut to raise the front.
Best T1XX Leveling Kit:
Maxracing 2" Leveling Kit – Compatible with 2007–2026 Silverado/Sierra 1500 – Fits the T1XX platform. CNC-machined aluminum spacers. No alignment issues beyond what a standard front alignment addresses.
Tire Fitment After 2" Level:
17" Wheels:
- 265/70R17: Fits cleanly with 2" level
- 285/70R17: Fits on most T1XX builds with 2" level, minor trimming possible at full lock
18" Wheels:
- 275/65R18 (stock LTZ): Works fine
- 285/65R18: Fits with 2" level, common choice
20" Wheels:
- 295/60R20 (stock High Country): Works
- 305/55R20: Borderline with 2" level
Trail Boss / AT4 Note:
The Trail Boss and AT4 come with a factory 2" lift from the factory. These trims can accommodate larger tires without additional leveling.
Alignment Required:
Front alignment is required after any leveling kit installation. Budget $80–$120.
Shock Replacement:
The T1XX uses coilover-style shocks. A 2" level does not typically require shock replacement if they are under 75K miles.
