Want to run bigger tires on your 2019+ Silverado/Sierra 1500? Here’s what fits at stock height and with a leveling kit.
Stock Tire Sizes:
- 17" wheels: 265/70R17 (WT/Work Truck, some LT builds)
- 18" wheels: 275/65R18 (most LT, LTZ)
- 20" wheels: 295/60R20 (High Country, LTZ 20")
- 22" wheels: 275/50R22 (Denali, some High Country)
Stock Height Maximum:
At stock height, you’re limited to approximately the factory size equivalent. Going significantly larger risks rubbing on the front fender liner or UCA at full steering lock.
With 2" Leveling Kit:
17" Wheels:
- 285/70R17: Popular upgrade, fits on most builds
- 305/70R17 (33"): Works on some builds, may rub at full lock
18" Wheels:
- 285/65R18: Common upgrade, fits cleanly
- 305/65R18: Borderline, may need trimming
20" Wheels:
- 305/55R20: Fits on leveled T1XX
- 315/55R20: Rubs on most – may need 3.5"+ lift
Trail Boss Specific:
The Trail Boss comes with 33" Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac tires from the factory on 18" wheels. This is the benchmark for the platform.
BFGoodrich Recommendation:
BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 LT265/65R18/E – Great fitment option for leveled T1XX 1500s on 18" wheels.
