Hoping for some clarification on dashes for the OBS truck. Have a 2000 K2500 Chevy CCSB that came from KY so it is heat baked and cracked down the middle. Preferably, I’d like to replace it when I pull the HVAC unit out to replace the doors/actuators. The big question, will the new dash that LMC sells (P/N 39-2443-GR) fit this truck? The couple times I’ve called LMC they appear to be just going by year and numbers, not sure the folks I talked to understood this is the 88-98 body style that carried till 2000 for the K2500’s. Thus why I’m here, hoping to find out if anyone has used it and could shed any light as to whether it will fit my truck. They’re not cheap and I’m not close enough to drive there to confirm fitment in person. Thanks in advance.

2000 OBS Dash would be the same fitment as the 97-99 one listed on LMC.
P/N 39-2443-GR should fit yes; but that is a steep price.
It might be worth while to check around and see if you have any autowreckers or part out guys locally - you might find one in good shape for a lot less!
Thanks for the info, I starred at the page for a while to compare to my truck and it sure looked right. However, I do agree the rice is steep plus another $50 for oversized freight shipping. My fear of an original is it will be a lot of work to swap out and then it’ll start cracking again. I am looking to do this soon though since it will help tremendously with reding my HVAC system, all the doors and actuators are shot (KY truck). I’ll see what I can find for dashes from someone parting one out locally, wouldn’t mind finding a few other things as well to clean up the interior. Thanks again and will post updates as I get to them.

A parts truck can be very helpful if you can find same color interior, same year range etc.
If you end up having to do the actuator, box, and blend door gaskets etc they do make new rebuild kits for those - and so if the dash has to be taken out anyways before you do it I’d make sure to have a rebuild kit with the gaskets. Dorman makes some replacement parts but there is also an aluminum kit as well (pricy though) 92-99 Chevy/GMC/SUV – Blend Door USA
I have to do blend door one day on a rig as well. Would like to make a post on that in future when I get to it!
Dash pulls are no joke - if you get a used one and it starts cracking in a few years, you’re pulling the whole thing again. Honestly might be worth the premium for new just to not do that twice.
